We just want to say thank you to our friends, and also to the many strangers out there in cyber-space who wrote to offer us support and to share their similar experiences. Much appreciated!
We’re happy to report that things have been quiet now for some time. While we still suffer from the libel spread about us by this individual in the past, we don’t expect any more trouble; but are prepared for it, if it happens. I’ve been advised not to publish any specific information about the individual who was stalking us. That’s the reason for so few updates to this weblog. Instead, I plan to offer some general advice and information about protecting your privacy and identity, and on how to avoid similar situations.

Anyone who knows Matt and Anna Parker understands that all of those attacks are totally ridiculous. Still this is a terrible thing to experience and they certainly didn’t deserve to have it happen to them. They are fine, honest people both.
Posted 29 Nov 2006 at 5:58 am ¶My family and I left Falls City Oregon in Polk County due to a neighbor that stalked and threatened our lives constantly. We were astounded that the Sheriffs Department would not enforce the stalking order even with witnesses, photos, videos. This man threatened our lives constantly and we were not left alone over a 2 year period. We were harassed by him online, in person and followed around and harassed by himself and his wife. It was horrible and was so traumatic for our little boy that we had to leave in order for him to have a normal life. The man never was arrested for anything he did. So much for laws against this type of behavior, if they aren’t enforced what good are they.
