We were astounded that the Sheriffs Department would not enforce the stalking order even with witnesses, photos, videos. This man threatened our lives constantly and we were not left alone over a 2 year period. We were harassed by him online, in person and followed around and harassed by himself and his wife. It was horrible and was so traumatic for our little boy that we had to leave in order for him to have a normal life. The man never was arrested for anything he did. So much for laws against this type of behavior, if they aren't enforced what good are they. I`ve wondered for a long time what this crap on usenet was about, and if there was a point to it at all, seems not though.

In this posting, they say people at the Leuven University were dismissed, one of them committed suicide. Depending on which posting you read, Matt Parker or his opponent would be responsible for that.
